STATIONARY DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM 07 JANUARY 2024

STATIONARY DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM 07 JANUARY 2024

Education is every child’s birth right. Unfortunately, there are too many kids who go to school but do not get basic stationary such as notebooks, pencils, erasers, pens, colour boxes etc.

There are times when the kids do not even have text books even though they wish to study and appear for exams. We, in NESA Foundation, are trying our best to reach out to many such kids in every possible way. We distribute stationary material free of cost, amongst the kids living in slums as well as less privileged kids studying in government schools. Each year, we organize a Diwali kit distribution program which includes the above mentioned stationary.

More than 100 kids have benefitted from this Happy New Kit program. Every kit costs of approximately ₹100. The stationary kit suffices their annual requirement. Sponsors have helped us in this activity of ours. We aim to reach out to maximum students, so that their wish to study is fulfilled and doesn’t get affected because of lack of stationary. Each year we aim to target double the count of previous year

NESA Foundation, a non-governmental organization that helps in providing education to underprivileged children has started a stationery distribution drive campaign named ‘Shiksha’. Volunteers distribute stationery and other items to needy children and click photographs.

She was introduced to the drive-by her friend who is an intern for NESA Foundation. She said that she always wanted to do something like this so when she heard about this opportunity, she jumped straight into it. She thanked NESA Foundation for coming up with such a great initiative.

The children were very happy to receive the goods. All in all, it was a very fulfilling experience.

Not only the interns, anyone who wants to participate in the stationery distribution drive can do so. You just need a will to give and a will to serve society.
