Blanket Distribution Program 2024
We are providing winter blankets to people living in the rural area every winter. Our organization runs Blanket Donation Campaign, where we provide high-quality warm blankets to the underprivileged living in the in our country.
There is no better gift than providing warm clothing to the needy during the winter season. Lakh’s of homeless experience bitterness of winter and are at great risk of suffering from severe illnesses, but at the same time, it has given us an opportunity to serve humanity by donating blankets to the needy. There cannot be a bigger satisfaction than saving someone’s life.
Many parts of the country experience extreme cold during winters which makes it difficult for poor children and elderly to survive. People live in these areas in extreme poverty, and consequently they have no possibility to afford the basic needs, such as shelter, education, healthcare and food. NESA Foundation organizes free blanket distribution camp every year for the poor and marginalized people living in slum areas. It is also a meaningful gift for the season. We encourage interested people to come forward and donate towards making such camps possible and successful. Your gift of blankets will not only protect these children and elderly from the vagaries of nature but will also keep them warm and comfortable.
Our volunteers at NESA Foundation are eyeing blanket distribution in different villages of Garhwa, including including Meral and other places too. The pleasure in fulfilling the basic requirement of people carries a different feeling that can’t be explained in words. Homeless people mostly reside in slum areas by constructing shacks and wooden houses with available materials. They don’t have clothes to cover their body, and they spend their winter without a blanket. And that’s the reason behind the death of thousands of people every year in the winter season. Whenever we visit such places with our volunteers, we get a question in our mind that isn’t our responsibility to assist such poor and needy people in living a life full of hope and opportunities?
In each shack, we come across several people and give them blankets. Also, we distribute blankets to abandoned people living a hopeless life, and we are endeavouring to bring some shadows of hope in their lives. Through our blanket distribution activities this year, many poverty-stricken families have received the benefits that would eventually help them in surviving amid the cold and chilling winter. The core objective of the warm clothes and blanket distribution activity by NESA Foundation is to reduce the suffering of economically and socially backward people due to the cold wave.
